Features of brazing flux Brazing flux is used to provide active and remove oxide on work pieces and brazing filler metal, and facilitate the shaping of brazing joint. It helps liquid brazing filler metal wetting and extending on surface of material. Brazing flux can destroy and melt oxidation on the surface of material. It has lower melting point than brazing filler metal, favorable heat stability, low viscosity, good fluidity. It is extensively used in brazing of Cu-based or Silver brazing filler metals.
